Hello and thank you for visiting my site!
I’m an acrylic artist and have loved painting and being creative all my life. I studied English and Philosophy at Lampeter University of Wales, but still enjoyed painting and photography. I took a break from painting after finishing university to try and get a ‘proper job’ and rarely found the time to create once in full time work.
Then, in 2013, the death of my first child propelled me back into painting as a way of coping with the grief. A kind of art therapy if you like. Since then, I have fallen in love with painting all over again and paint whenever I get the chance. I have a passion for allegorical painting, surrealism, magical realism and symbolism, and I love to hide things within my paintings to surprise or challenge the viewer.
Happily, my second and third children take up most of my time in the day, but in the evenings and weekends I am usually found at my easel, or busily researching my next painting.
